QUALIFYING PATHWAYS FOR INVITATIONAL ENTRY

Adult Divisions Shortboard: competition in WSA, NSSA, ESA, TGSA, HSA, US Boardriders, WSL QS or ISA Team Member

Longboard Open Men’s and Women’s : competition in WSA, NSSA, ESA, TGSA, HSA, WSL QS or ISA Team Member

Para Surf: competition in WSA, HSA, AASP, PSL, Access Hawaii, or ISA Team Member

Surfers who have competed in the regional organizations listed above and meet the minimum number of required events will receive an invitation to USA Champs 2026. Check with your regional organization to ensure you meet their requirements.

Championships Update
The upcoming 2026 USA Surfing Championships in Oceanside, CA have been approved in collaboration with USOPC to maximize performance readiness and qualification pathway for the 2026 & 2027 Longboard, SUP Surf and Sup Technical Races at ISA and PASA Teams. Pan Am Games Qualification Opportunity
The updated Championships will now serve as the primary pathway for qualifying events for the Pan American Games.
