USA SURFING CROWNS 2026 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS ACROSS PARA, LONGBOARD, SUP, AND RACING DISCIPLINES AT USA SURFING CHAMPIONSHIPS

USA SURFING ANNOUNCES RESULTS FROM THE 2026 USA SURFING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Competitors Met with One of the Largest Southern Hemisphere Swells in Years as All Divisions Rise to the Occasion

Oceanside, Calif. — USA Surfing is proud to announce the results from the 2026 USA Surfing Championships presented by Hurley, a landmark multi-day event that showcased the extraordinary depth and talent of American surfing across Para, Longboard, Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Surf, and SUP & Prone Racing disciplines. Competitors from across the nation converged to battle for national titles and earn coveted spots on USA Surfing's National Team for ISA Team nomination.

Adding to the drama of competition, athletes were met with one of the largest Southern Hemisphere swells to hit the region in several years. Rather than shy away from the conditions, all divisions rose to the occasion — posting excellent scores and pushing equipment to the limit, with more than a few broken boards serving as a testament to the power of the swell.

The Championships unfolded across multiple competition days, beginning June 7 with the Para Surfing Championships, followed by Longboard Age Group Divisions on June 8, the Longboard Open on June 9–10, SUP Surf and Adult Shortboard on June 11, and concluding with SUP and Prone Racing on June 12. Across every discipline, the event yielded world-class displays of talent, further cementing the United States' reputation as a dominant force within the global surfing community.

"These athletes continue to raise the bar year after year," said USA Surfing CEO Greg Hulsizer. "From our Para surfers who inspire everyone in the water, to our Longboard and SUP competitors and racers who bring artistry and athleticism in equal measure, the 2026 Championships reminded us why the U.S. is a force to be reckoned with on the world stage."
