Toyota and USA Surfing are pleased to announce the launch of the inaugural surf schools that will be part of a nationwide network of Toyota/USA Surfing endorsed surf schools focused on providing beginning and intermediate surfers a safe, smart, and stoke-filled start in an extraordinary lifelong sport and lifestyle. In order to qualify, surf schools must: • be fully insured and permitted • have U.S. Center for SafeSport trained operators • have NCSI background checked operators • operate with a one-to-five or better Instructor to student ratio • have CPR and First Aid trained staff • have ISA or NSSIA-certified instructors or extensive documented experience recognized by USA Surfing • donate camp to underrepresented youth
